slowing down

WELL.

Here I am, building a new site, months have gone by & i’m still putting finishing touches on her.
When closing the studio I had an overwhelming urge to find my “why”

I felt inspired by the simplicity of other photographers I was viewing online - sharing simply… PHOTOS.

No fancy brands, no fancy products. Just beautiful photography.

It changed my perspective. Quickly.

Being a stay at home mom, I’m fortunate to have the freedom to create without pressure. When I want, how I want it to be.

SO - I’ve taken my sweet time on a new site because I want to be sure of my why. My intentions for this business.

I’m in my mommin’ “era” so i’ve been taking the time to find my groove with photography again.

I want it to be intentional & that takes time. Processing. & more time.

I’ve simplified my site, my offerings & the way I do things.

Let me tell you right now - THAT FEELS GOOOOOD.

My entire life, until recently, I’ve been in a hurry.

A constant rush to do. Check off the list. Create something new. DO MORE. DO MORE.

Never really feeling like I’m caught up.

I’m learning to slow down. In all aspects.

I’m leaning into taking my time on things. Hence the months it’s taken me to redo my website.

I’m thriving in the intuitive work instead of forcing more & more.

There’s no drastic lesson to be learned in this blog. No crazy insight to be taken.

Maybe all of this is to say - take your time, in pretty much any aspect.

I promise, soaking up the goodness in each day is more important. & when you give yourself the time, your creativity might thank you in ways you never saw coming before.
